Larb (pronounced like the car company Saab with an L) is one of the great Thai dishes you can really only get in Thailand unless you know how to make it. Restaurants do not typically have it on the menu in other countries. We love this spicy crunchy wrap or salad.
Step 1. Gather the ingredients
3 Thai Birdseye chilies or of your choice
2 spring onions
4 cilantro stalks and leaves
1/2 teaspoon knorr chicken stock seasoning
3/4 pound minced Chicken
1/2 teaspoon salt
2-3 shallots
1/2 Lemon
1 tablespoon powdered chili
4 cups water in a pot

Step 2 boil the chicken
Boil the water. It does not have to be a rolling boil just hot enough to cook the chicken. add the chicken to it.
Stir constantly to keep the chicken from sticking together. Cook two minutes Do not overcook as it will be dry and flaky
Step 4 strain out the Chicken Add some salt
remove from the heat then strain out the chicken. place in a mixing bowl and add the Knorr chicken stock seasoning
Step 5 mix in the ingredients
Add the juice from 1/2 lemon. Stir in
Add the chili powder. We use a lot though you can adjust to your taste. Add onions cilantro salt and stir
add fish sauce and stir
you can add some small sugar here if you wish.
Step 6. plate with your choice of veggie for the wrap
We like to use romaine lettuce though you can use fresh cabbage or any green leaf vegetable as the wrap. Eat like tacos or just from the spoon!!
